Oxide Computer Company, a US-based provider of on-premises cloud computing infrastructure, has raised $445 million in a Series D funding round led by Eclipse. Existing investors US Innovative Technology Fund (USIT), Riot Ventures and Jane Street participated, alongside new investors Atreides Management and AMD Ventures. The funding was announced on October 9, 2026.
Founded in 2019 by Steve Tuck and Bryan Cantrill, Oxide is headquartered in Emeryville, California. Tuck serves as CEO, while Cantrill is the company’s Chief Technology Officer. The company develops integrated computing infrastructure designed to bring cloud computing capabilities into enterprise-owned data centers.
Its flagship product, the Oxide Cloud Computer, combines purpose-built hardware with open-source software in a rack-scale system. The platform integrates computing, storage, networking and infrastructure management, allowing organizations to operate cloud-style environments within their own facilities while retaining control over their infrastructure and data.
Oxide serves customers across financial services, government, national laboratories, aerospace and other industries with substantial computing requirements.
The company said it reached profitability earlier in 2026, while customer demand continued to exceed its manufacturing capacity. The new financing will support component procurement, production expansion and the fulfillment of existing and future customer orders.
The Series D follows a $200 million Series C announced in February 2026 and a $100 million Series B completed in July 2025. The earlier rounds were led by USIT and supported the company’s manufacturing expansion and enterprise infrastructure development.
