Heidi, a Melbourne-based clinical AI company, has raised $100 million in a Series C round led by Blackbird, with participation from existing investors Phoenix Court, Point72 Private Investments and Headline. The equity round values the company at $900 million.
Alongside the Series C, Heidi secured a separate $240 million growth investment led by General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund. The two transactions bring Heidi’s total new financing to $340 million.
Heidi said the capital will support deeper adoption across health systems, development of agentic capabilities that can assist with work around patient visits, and further investment in clinical safety, regulatory systems and related infrastructure.
The company develops an AI care platform for clinicians. Its products include an AI scribe for clinical documentation, Evidence for accessing medical research and clinical guidance, Remote for audio capture across care settings, and Dictate for voice-to-text workflows.
Heidi was founded in Melbourne by Dr. Tom Kelly, Waleed Mussa and Yu Liu, who serve as CEO, CFO and CTO, respectively.
The company said its platform now supports around 2.8 million patient interactions each week across 190 countries and 110 languages. Heidi has supported more than 175 million patient visits and over 67 million clinical hours since launch.
