Barcelona-based fintech ID Finance has secured a €21 million debt facility from German asset manager nordIX AG to support the expansion of its consumer lending business in Spain. The financing will be used to fund new consumer loan originations and expand ID Finance’s Spanish credit portfolio.

The facility also adds to ID Finance’s institutional funding base for its alternative lending operations. nordIX is a Hamburg-based fixed-income and private credit specialist, and the financing forms part of the strategy of its European Consumer Credit Fund, which invests in consumer loan portfolios originated by non-bank lenders across Europe.

Founded in Barcelona in 2015 by Boris Batine and Alexander Dunaev, ID Finance develops digital financial services and operates in Spain and Mexico. Its products include digital consumer lending and the Plazo financial platform.

According to the financing announcement, ID Finance originated more than €190 million in consumer loans in Spain during the first half of 2026 and generated approximately €100 million in revenue during the period.
