Instarc regulatory technology platform for digital onboarding and compliance workflows
Instarc secured €1.25 million in strategic funding led by HFO Investments to accelerate the rollout of its cloud-native regulatory compliance platform in South Africa.

Instarc, a Tallinn, Estonia-based regulatory technology company, secured a €1.25 million strategic investment led by HFO Investments. Athena Capital and Option 3 Capital advised on the transaction.

Instarc develops cloud-native compliance infrastructure for regulated financial institutions and other accountable businesses. Its platform supports digital client onboarding, know-your-customer processes, customer due diligence, identity and ownership verification, configurable workflows, document management, regulatory reporting, audit records and integrations with existing systems.

The company plans to use the investment to accelerate the commercial rollout of its platform in South Africa, with an initial focus on financial institutions and other organisations subject to requirements under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act. Instarc is led by CEO Jonathan Revell.
