Instinct, a San Francisco-based startup developing a personal AI agent, has raised $1 billion in Series C funding at a $10 billion valuation. Sequoia Capital, Benchmark and Coatue participated in the round.

Founded in 2025 by Noah Shinn, Instinct is building an AI agent designed to perform everyday tasks on users’ behalf. The early-access product can be contacted through text or voice and is designed to handle tasks such as planning trips, ordering groceries, making bookings and managing subscriptions.

The company has also expanded the product with Instinct Concierge, a service designed for tasks requiring phone calls and higher-touch bookings. Instinct said the new capital will support wider deployment and continued development of its technology.

The Series C follows a $250 million Series B announced in August 2026, which valued Instinct at $2.5 billion and was co-led by Index Ventures and Benchmark.
