Bengaluru-based Oppex AI has raised ₹4.2 crore in a pre-seed funding round from Info Edge Ventures. The startup plans to use the capital to accelerate product development, expand its team and scale customer deployments.
Founded in 2025 by Prasun Kumar and Pranit Kumar, Oppex AI develops an AI-native incident management platform for engineering and production operations teams. Kumar serves as founder and CEO, while Pranit Kumar is co-founder and CTO.
The platform brings together operational context from observability systems, cloud infrastructure, applications, customer support tools and internal documentation. Its agentic system is designed to investigate production incidents, reason across this information and help automate incident response and resolution.
Oppex AI has deployed its product across multiple enterprises, with users in India, the UK, the European Union and the US. The company is continuing to develop its agentic platform as it seeks to make production incident management more AI-led.
