Hamburg-based Procuros, a developer of AI-native B2B supply chain connectivity software, has raised €20 million in a Series A funding round led by European venture capital firm XAnge.
The round included participation from W23 Global and existing investors Point Nine, Creandum and b2venture, alongside several angel investors. The funding was announced on October 6, 2026.
Founded in 2021 by Patrick Thelen and Benjamin Bradford, Procuros develops software infrastructure that enables retailers, manufacturers and suppliers to exchange business data across different enterprise systems. The Hamburg-headquartered company focuses on automating transactions that traditionally depend on disconnected software, manual data entry and conventional electronic data interchange (EDI) systems.
Its platform provides a central connectivity layer through which businesses can exchange purchase orders, dispatch notices, invoices and other supply chain documents. Instead of building separate integrations for individual trading partners, companies can connect their systems to Procuros, which processes and standardizes information across different data formats.
The infrastructure also supports AI-driven automation by providing structured transaction data that software agents can use to execute workflows across connected businesses.
Procuros serves more than 300 customers across the DACH region and the United Kingdom. According to XAnge, the platform handles more than €3 billion in annualized order volume.
The company previously raised $9 million in seed funding in April 2022, in a round led by Point Nine and Creandum, with participation from Paua Ventures and existing investor btov.
Procuros plans to use the Series A proceeds to expand its international operations, strengthen its go-to-market activities and further develop its AI-native supply chain infrastructure. The investment will support the company’s efforts to connect additional businesses and automate more transactions across trading networks.
