Blog Raff raised $1.7M in a pre-seed round led by Vision Ventures
Raff raised $1.7 million in a pre-seed round led by Vision Ventures to expand its Riyadh-based retail technology platform across the GCC.

The Riyadh-based retail technology startup said it will use the financing to expand across the GCC, develop its product and strengthen its AI capabilities.

Raff raised $1.7 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Vision Ventures, the Riyadh-based retail technology company announced on August 25, 2026. The round also included participation from 500 Global, Palm Ventures, OQAL and Salla co-founder Salman Butt, along with other investors.

Founded in Saudi Arabia in 2024 by Ali Al Qudah and Abdul Kareem Munla, Raff develops software connecting consumer brands with physical retailers. Al Qudah currently serves as co-founder and CEO.

The company’s platform is designed to digitise distribution and commercial operations for brands entering or expanding through physical retail. It covers functions including inventory management, order fulfilment and payments, and can integrate with retailers’ point-of-sale and accounting systems.

Raff said it plans to use the new capital to expand across the Gulf Cooperation Council markets, accelerate product development and strengthen its AI capabilities. Public information reviewed by Bipsiq does not provide enough technical detail to independently characterise Raff’s current AI architecture or specific machine-learning systems.

Vision Ventures describes itself as an early-stage venture capital investor focused on the Middle East and North Africa. Raff’s relationship with at least some of the participating investors predates the new financing. Al Qudah told Inc. Arabia that Salman Butt was the startup’s first investor, while Raff previously participated in the Sanabil Accelerator by 500 Global. The amounts and financing terms associated with that earlier backing were not publicly established.

The financing structure of the $1.7 million round was not disclosed, and Raff did not announce a valuation. Because earlier backing was described without publicly disclosed amounts or clear financing terms, Bipsiq could not establish a reliable cumulative funding total for the company.
