Paris-based design software startup Rayon raised €10 million in a Series A funding round led by Partech, with continued participation from existing investors Northzone, Foundamental and Seedcamp.

The company plans to use the funding to introduce 3D capabilities, integrate more AI into its design workflow and expand its go-to-market efforts. Rayon said it has crossed more than 4 million drawings created on its platform and has grown to a team of 35 people.

Founded in 2021 by Bastien Dolla and Stanislas Chaillou, Rayon develops browser-based design software for interior designers, interior architects and other professionals working on spaces and the built environment. Its platform combines floor plans, technical drawings, mood boards and schedules while supporting real-time collaboration. Users can also import and export formats including DWG, DXF, PDF and PNG.

Rayon said the new funding will support the development of its next product generation, including 3D and broader AI capabilities within the drawing environment.

The company previously raised €4 million in seed funding in September 2023. That round was co-led by Northzone and Foundamental, with Seedcamp also participating.
