Pune-based recruitment software startup Scooter has raised approximately $180,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by AJVC.
The company plans to use the funding to strengthen its recruitment software platform and expand its product development and team-building capabilities across India.
Founded in 2024 by Kartik Mandrekar and Saumya Seth, Scooter operates a scenario-based sales hiring platform and recruitment marketplace. The platform is designed to help companies identify sales candidates through practical assessments and behavioural scenarios based on real-world selling situations.
Scooter sources verified sales professionals, evaluates candidates through its assessment process and provides hiring teams with a curated shortlist of candidates suited to their requirements.
