SignSplit PBC has secured a $400 million strategic seed financing package from W Group, valuing the Delaware-based technology company at $1 billion. W Group is the sole investor in the round and will serve as SignSplit’s anchor strategic partner. The financing combines capital with a multi-year package of strategic resources intended to support the company’s global rollout.
The company emerged from stealth with the financing announcement on October 5, 2026. Founded in 2024, SignSplit is building infrastructure for what it calls the “signed-data” economy, enabling people and institutions to protect, license and contribute their data, work and likeness under defined consent, provenance and usage terms.
Through its platform, AI and robotics companies, researchers and other organisations can access data and research pools created around specific requirements. Contributors can provide real-world data, knowledge and skills and receive compensation for participating. SignSplit also offers a verification layer designed to allow AI systems, social media platforms and other digital services to identify signed content and access information associated with its provenance, consent and terms.
SignSplit was founded in 2024. Glib Denisov serves as co-founder, executive chairman and chief product officer, while Alessandro Monterosso is co-founder and CEO. The company is incorporated as a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation.
