Stenon, a Germany-based agritech company developing real-time soil intelligence technology, has secured additional Series B funding from Yara Growth Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Yara International ASA.
The Potsdam-headquartered company announced the second closing of its Series B financing on October 12, 2026. The financial terms of the new investment were not disclosed.
The investment follows Stenon’s €18 million Series B financing announced in July 2026. That earlier closing was led by Pymwymic, with DeepTech & Climate Fonds (DTCF) joining as a new investor. Yara Growth Ventures has now joined the financing through the subsequent closing.
Founded in 2018 and led by founder and CEO Niels Grabbert, Stenon develops technology that enables agricultural businesses to measure soil conditions directly in the field.
Its FarmLab platform combines proprietary sensor technology, artificial intelligence and software to measure soil parameters and generate agronomic insights. The technology provides information on soil nitrogen availability and other conditions to support fertiliser management and agricultural decision-making.
Stenon serves agricultural input retailers, machinery dealers, agricultural consultants and food producers across several international markets. Its FarmLab technology has received DLG and TÜV certifications.
The company plans to use the additional financing to advance its soil nitrogen intelligence platform, integrating real-time soil measurements with crop nutrition expertise, nitrogen management and digital farming applications.
The development is intended to support more precise fertiliser decisions and improve the use of agricultural inputs through field-level soil information.
