Monopulse, a Danish-Lithuanian defense technology startup developing unmanned aerial systems for military reconnaissance and surveillance, has raised over €2 million in a seed funding round led by Coinvest Capital.
The round included participation from Plug and Play Ventures, NGL Ventures and individual investors associated with the Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN). An NGL Ventures syndicate comprising 68 business angels contributed €560,000 to the financing.
Founded in 2021, Monopulse is led by founder and CEO Justas Poderys, alongside co-founder and Chief Mechanical Engineer Alexander Vesterhauge. The company operates in Denmark and Lithuania, developing aerial surveillance systems for defense, security and government applications.
Its products include the Falcon MK3S series of reconnaissance drones and Hydrohex, a platform combining aerial and water-surface capabilities for inspection and monitoring tasks.
Monopulse focuses on developing unmanned systems capable of operating in electronic warfare environments, where GPS interference and disrupted communication signals can affect conventional drone operations. Its research covers autonomous navigation, sensor fusion, communication technologies and artificial intelligence.
The company supplies unmanned aerial systems to the Lithuanian and Danish armed forces, providing reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities for military operations.
Monopulse plans to use the new investment to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen research and development, and increase commercial activity across additional NATO markets. Its planned expansion includes Germany, France and the Netherlands.
The funding follows a €1.12 million loan secured from Lithuania’s national development bank ILTE in November 2025 to support UAV production capacity and existing orders.
