TabaPay has closed a $155 million Series B strategic growth financing led by FTV Capital. The transaction includes both primary capital for the company and a secondary component. Alongside the financing, TabaPay announced plans to acquire Transact Bank, N.A., a federally chartered and FDIC-insured bank based in Denver, Colorado.

Founded in 2017 by Rodney Robinson, Manoj Verma and Marvin Mah, TabaPay provides money movement infrastructure for fintech companies, lenders and other platforms. Its technology enables businesses to manage payments and payouts across card and bank rails through a single API.

Subject to regulatory approval, Transact Bank is expected to be renamed TabaBank, N.A. and operate alongside TabaPay under TabaHoldings, Inc. The proposed acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. TabaBank is intended to complement TabaPay’s existing banking partners and support payment rails including RTP, FedNow, ACH, wire transfers and card sponsorship.

The financing is also expected to support TabaPay’s product development, merchant liquidity solutions and potential strategic acquisitions. TabaPay operates with more than 20 partner banks across the US and Canada and says it is on track to process more than $100 billion in payment volume in 2026.
