New York-based women's health startup Allara has raised $30 million from existing and new investors, including Index Ventures, GV and Camino Partners. The funding will support AI-enabled care, healthcare partnerships and research.

Allara, a New York-based virtual women’s healthcare company, announced $30 million in new funding on October 13, 2026, bringing its total funding to $75 million.

Existing investors Index Ventures and GV increased their commitments, while Camino Partners, Foreground Capital and Family Fund joined as new investors. The company did not disclose a specific funding round stage.

Founded in 2020 by Rachel Blank, who serves as CEO, Allara provides insurance-covered virtual healthcare for women experiencing hormonal, metabolic and reproductive health conditions. Its care model combines women’s health clinicians and registered dietitians to provide medical treatment, nutrition guidance and personalized care plans.

The platform supports women managing conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders and metabolic health issues, as well as those seeking fertility, postpartum and perimenopause care.

Allara has expanded its services to include GLP-1 weight management treatments, hormone replacement therapy, prescription skincare, hair loss treatments and virtual urgent care for conditions including bacterial vaginosis and urinary tract infections.

The company said it has served more than 120,000 women through its virtual care platform. It provides in-network access through major health insurers across most US states.

Allara plans to use the new capital to develop AI-enabled tools that support clinical workflows and personalize patient experiences. These tools will cover activities ranging from patient intake and appointment scheduling to ongoing treatment management, while keeping healthcare professionals responsible for clinical decisions.

The funding will also support partnerships with employers, healthcare providers and other organizations to expand access to its services.

Another priority is advancing research using the company’s patient data to study women’s health conditions, including PCOS, thyroid disorders and endometriosis.

The latest financing follows Allara’s $26 million Series B round in January 2025, which supported the expansion of its clinical services and insurance partnerships.
