EZO electric vehicle charging infrastructure supporting public EV charging across Ireland and the UK.
EZO has secured a €150 million senior debt facility involving Aberdeen Investments and Standard Life. The financing will support the deployment of more than 3,000 EV charging points across the UK and Ireland.

EZO, an Ireland-based electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure operator, has reached financial close on a €150 million investment-grade, non-recourse senior debt facility to expand its public charging network across the UK and Ireland.

The financing involves a consortium of lenders including Aberdeen Investments and Standard Life. Aberdeen Investments previously announced €80 million in financing anchored by Standard Life as part of the overall facility.

The facility will support the design, installation, operation and maintenance of more than 3,000 EV charging points, with a combined capacity exceeding 100,000 kW. Most of the new infrastructure is expected to be deployed in the UK, with additional installations planned in Ireland.

The rollout will primarily operate under long-term public-sector concession agreements. Under the financing structure, revenue generated by the funded charging infrastructure will be ring-fenced to service the debt over a seven-year period.

Led by CEO Ollie Chatten, EZO develops and operates EV charging infrastructure for public locations, local authorities, businesses and fleet operators. Formerly known as EasyGo, the company provides charging services across Ireland and the UK.

EZO operates more than 5,600 charging points and supports over 150,000 registered drivers across its network. The company has also delivered more than 30 million kWh of electricity through its charging infrastructure.

The financing follows EZO’s expansion into the UK public charging market, including long-term local authority-backed contracts. Its existing projects include charging infrastructure development in northern Scotland, alongside partnerships to expand charging availability in Ireland.
