QuoIntelligence, a Frankfurt-based cybersecurity startup, announced an investment from former German Finance Minister Christian Lindner on October 26, 2026. The investment was made through Christian Lindner Beteiligungsgesellschaft, with the financial terms remaining undisclosed.
The investment followed QuoIntelligence’s €7.3 million Series A funding round, completed on April 27, 2026. That round was led by Elevator Ventures, the venture capital arm of Raiffeisen Bank International, and co-led by BMH Beteiligungs-Managementgesellschaft Hessen. Existing investor eCAPITAL Entrepreneurial Partners and Mercurius Private Equity also participated. Lindner’s investment was announced separately from the Series A financing.
Founded in 2020 by Marco Riccardi, who serves as CEO, QuoIntelligence provides cyber threat and risk intelligence to organisations seeking to identify and manage security risks without maintaining dedicated in-house intelligence teams.
The company’s Mercury platform combines digital risk protection, cyber threat intelligence and assessments of geopolitical, physical and compliance risks. Its services integrate AI-supported analysis with human expertise to provide organisations with contextualised intelligence for risk management.
QuoIntelligence serves customers across transportation, manufacturing, financial services and retail, as well as European Union institutions. The company operates with analysts based in Germany, Italy and Spain and says customer intelligence data remains within the EU.
In October 2026, QuoIntelligence received the European Cyber Security Organisation’s STARtup Award 2026, recognising it as Europe’s Most Promising Cybersecurity Start-up. The company had also secured a four-year contract worth €1.4 million from the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) in 2025 to provide cyber threat intelligence services.
The investment adds Lindner to QuoIntelligence’s existing investor base as the company pursues further expansion in the European cybersecurity market.
