Blog Be Clinical Raises ₹21 Crore in Seed Extension Led by Sauce
New Delhi-based skincare startup Be Clinical raised ₹21 crore in a Seed Extension led by Sauce, with V3 Ventures and angel investors participating. The company plans to expand R&D, manufacturing, clinical testing and its product range.

The New Delhi skincare startup plans to invest the capital in R&D, clinical testing, manufacturing capacity, product expansion and new markets.

New Delhi-based skincare startup Be Clinical has raised ₹21 crore, approximately $2.2 million, in a Seed Extension led by consumer-focused venture capital firm Sauce. Existing investor V3 Ventures also participated alongside angel investors Sangeet Agrawal, Navin Parwal, Arjun Purkayastha and Shaunak Chirayu Amin.

The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen research and development, expand its clinical testing and manufacturing capabilities, broaden its product range across skin, body and haircare, grow its team and enter additional markets and geographies. These are company-stated plans and remain prospective.

Be Clinical was founded by Hemangi Dhir and began selling under its current brand in May 2025. Its official website says the business evolved from Botnal, Dhir’s earlier skincare brand, as it shifted towards products built around dermatologically active ingredients and clinical testing.

The company develops products targeting ageing-related skin concerns and has moved formulation and manufacturing operations in-house. Its current portfolio includes products such as PlumpX Serum, FirmX Serum, Revive 10 Eye Cream, Neck Repair Cream and a growing range of body and scalp products. Be Clinical sells through its own website as well as third-party ecommerce channels.

The latest financing follows earlier capital raises by Be Clinical. The company announced ₹6 crore in Seed funding in January 2026 in a round led by V3 Ventures with participation from Titan Capital. In May 2025, it announced ₹2 crore in Seed funding led by Titan Capital, with participation from Aditya Agarwal.

Bipsiq is not treating the simple ₹29 crore sum of those three announced amounts as a confirmed cumulative funding figure because historical coverage differs on whether earlier Seed financings represented separate rounds or portions of the same continuing round.

A valuation for the latest financing was not disclosed, and detailed transaction terms such as the precise equity structure were not publicly available.

Sauce is an India-focused venture investor specialising in consumer businesses, while V3 Ventures invests in early-stage consumer companies and is backed by Verlinvest.
