Hyperbolic, a San Francisco-based AI infrastructure company, raised $30 million in a Series A1 funding round led by Walden Catalyst.
The round included participation from Dell Technologies Capital, General Catalyst, Vista Equity Partners, Cambium Capital, Salience Capital and other strategic investors.
Founded in 2022 by Jasper Zhang and Yuchen Jin, Hyperbolic provides a platform that enables AI developers and businesses to access, manage and deploy GPU computing resources across different infrastructure providers. Zhang serves as CEO, while Jin is the company’s CTO.
Its platform connects AI companies seeking computing capacity with GPU infrastructure providers. It offers on-demand and reserved GPU resources, managed inference services and tools for managing AI workloads across multiple cloud environments.
Hyperbolic will use the new funding to develop Forge, its unified infrastructure control plane, expand multi-cloud orchestration services and advance its planned Global Compute Grid.
Forge standardizes GPU clusters from different providers and brings provisioning, virtualization, networking and infrastructure operations into a common management platform. The planned Global Compute Grid is intended to allow customers to access computing resources from multiple providers and resell eligible unused capacity.
According to the company, its platform supports more than 250,000 AI builders, including teams at Modal, Higgsfield, Daytona, HeyGen, Voio, RadixArk and Pika.
Previously, Hyperbolic raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Variant Fund and Polychain Capital in December 2024, bringing its total funding at that time to $20 million.
