Integral has raised €18 million in Series A funding to expand its AI-enabled accounting, tax and payroll services for SMEs. Mosaic Ventures and Reid Hoffman co-led the round.

Berlin-based Integral has raised €18 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Mosaic Ventures and Reid Hoffman. Existing investors Cherry Ventures, General Catalyst and Puzzle Ventures also participated in the round. The financing takes Integral’s total capital raised to more than €30 million.

Founded in 2024 by Lukas Zörner and Anil Can Baykal, Integral provides accounting, tax and payroll services to small and medium-sized businesses. The company combines AI agents with licensed professionals, with its technology handling repetitive workflows while professionals review and sign off on regulated work.

Integral’s AI agents are used for tasks including reconciling invoices and bank transactions, preparing account postings, payroll runs and tax filings. Integral Tax, an affiliated independent licensed German audit and tax firm, operates on the company’s platform and provides professional oversight of the work.

Integral plans to use the Series A funding to deepen automation across its accounting, tax and payroll workflows, develop its compliance technology for regulated financial work and expand its teams across AI engineering, licensed professional services and commercial functions.
