Paris-based Opio has raised €4 million in a seed funding round from Frst, Seedcamp and Global Founders Capital. Angel investors including Pennylane co-founder and CEO Arthur Waller and Dust co-founder Stanislas Polu also participated. Opio announced the financing as it emerged from stealth in September 2026.

Founded in 2025 by Tristan Fulchiron and Olivier Chancé, Opio develops AI software for financial due diligence. Its platform is designed for transaction services teams at audit and advisory firms, helping them process accounting and deal-room data, reconcile financial information and connect analysis to underlying source documents.

Opio said transaction services teams in 15 countries are using its technology, including teams at Forvis Mazars and BDO. The company also says its platform can reduce the time professionals spend on transaction services engagements by 27%.

The startup is also expanding beyond its initial financial due diligence product. Opio plans to increase its international business, with the UK and Germany among its focus markets, and is preparing a second product for early 2027 as it moves into additional financial audit workflows.
