SiMa.ai has raised $150 million in Series C financing, bringing its total capital raised to $500 million and valuing the San Jose-based physical AI company at $1.45 billion. The round was co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify.
Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, Maverick Capital, +ND Capital, Point72 and StepStone Group participated in the financing. AllianceBernstein, Baron Capital, J.P. Morgan and the State of Michigan joined as new investors.
Founded in 2018 and led by founder and CEO Krishna Rangasayee, SiMa.ai develops silicon and software for running AI workloads in physical systems. Its platform combines its Modalix machine learning system-on-chip products with Palette Neat, an agentic software environment designed for applications including robotics, drones, automotive systems and industrial automation.
SiMa.ai said the new capital will support the expansion of Palette Neat and development of its next-generation physical AI hardware. The company plans machine learning IP, chiplets and system-on-chip products capable of delivering 1,000 dense TOPS of compute, with the next-generation hardware offerings scheduled for the first half of 2028.
The company said the new hardware is being developed for applications including medium- to high-end drones, humanoid robotics, automotive advanced driver assistance systems and AI-powered cockpits.
