Pro Shop has closed a $24 million Series B financing round led by Arthur M. Blank Sports and Entertainment (AMBSE). New investors Causeway Media Partners and Ares Sports, Media and Entertainment funds joined the round, alongside returning investors PGA Tour, Powerhouse Capital and Phoenix Capital Ventures.
Founded in 2023 by Chad Mumm, Joe Purzycki, David Miller and Mark Olsen, Pro Shop is a media, entertainment and commerce company focused on connecting golf with broader culture and lifestyle audiences. The company is headquartered in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
Pro Shop’s portfolio includes Pro Shop Studios, digital media brand Skratch, golf news and community platform GolfWRX, lifestyle and commerce brand Sugarloaf Social Club, and Paige Co., its media and consumer venture with Paige Spiranac. Pro Shop Studios produces Full Swing and has worked on projects including Happy Gilmore 2, while the company has also expanded into live golf competition and creator-led programming.
The company plans to use the Series B capital to expand its digital media and original programming operations, including talent-led franchises, live events, competition formats and content designed for social-first audiences. The financing will also support growth across its owned media brands and commerce businesses, as well as potential acquisitions and partnerships in golf, media and technology.
Pro Shop said its portfolio currently reaches more than 35 million unique users and that its revenue has doubled year over year.
The Series B follows a $20 million Series A completed in 2024. That round was led by Powerhouse Capital and included PGA Tour, EP Golf Ventures, Marquee Ventures, Gametime Capital, Phoenix Capital Ventures and other investors.
