New York-based AI startup Scuba has raised $34 million across two funding rounds as it emerged from stealth on October 13, 2026. Accel led the pre-seed round and co-led the seed round alongside IVP.
The funding also attracted participation from BoxGroup, Conviction, Homebrew, and Scribble Ventures. Scuba received backing from angel investors associated with companies including Slack, Instagram, Stripe, LinkedIn, Salesforce, Datadog, Vanta, Harvey, Dropbox, and Duolingo.
Founded in 2025 by Noah Desai Weiss and Dolapo Falola, Scuba develops a shared context and memory platform designed to help teams and AI agents access organizational knowledge and collaborate using common information.
Weiss, Scuba’s co-founder and CEO, previously served as Chief Product Officer at Slack. Falola, the company’s co-founder and CTO, previously led engineering at The Browser Company and held engineering leadership roles at Slack and Meta.
Scuba enables employees to capture and organize information from documents, articles, screenshots, videos, conversations, and voice notes. Its platform automatically connects saved material into shared collections that teams can search, review, and use across their workflows.
The system integrates with AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It also works with Slack, allowing users to access shared organizational information and capture discussions within their existing communication environment.
The platform is designed to preserve institutional knowledge, including decisions, project context, and accumulated insights, so employees and AI agents can use relevant information when carrying out tasks.
According to the company, hundreds of early users tested Scuba during a six-month private beta, using the platform for product development, project coordination, customer feedback, and business strategy.
Scuba plans to deploy the funding toward product expansion, recruitment, and go-to-market activities. The company is opening its limited beta to additional teams in phases, with applications for early access available through its website.
