CellPoint Digital has secured a $34 million investment from Toscafund, managed by its private equity affiliate Penta Capital, as the payments technology company develops Zenith, an AI decisioning platform for airline and hospitality payments. The investment was announced on September 22, 2026.

The company said the capital will support product development across data and AI, the development of Zenith, and international expansion. CellPoint also plans to add 50 roles across product, data, AI, sales and partnerships in Europe, the Americas and Asia.

Zenith is designed to operate as an AI decisioning layer above CellPoint’s own payment orchestration technology or third-party orchestrators. The platform uses payment data to automate commercial decisions intended to improve payment approval rates, reduce payment costs and recover lost revenue without requiring customers to replace their existing payment infrastructure.

Founded in 2007, CellPoint Digital provides payment orchestration and optimisation technology for airlines, travel companies and hospitality businesses. The company lists London as its primary headquarters on LinkedIn and is registered in England, while operating offices across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East.

Alongside the investment, Penta Capital appointed Kevin Murphy as Group CEO and Michael Kelly as Chairman. Patrick Uckermark joined the strengthened executive team as Chief Product and Technology Officer, with responsibility for the company’s AI and data roadmap.

CellPoint previously announced a $30 million funding round from Toscafund and Penta Capital in November 2024 to support its payment orchestration technology and global expansion.
