Dubai-based fintech startup CapQuest has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Oraseya Capital and AMKM Family Office. The investment will support further development of its equity management platform, increased automation and commercial expansion.

Founded in 2023 by Antoine Bruna, Marco Banfi and Anvita Varshney, CapQuest provides software that helps startups, scaleups and established companies manage corporate ownership and equity-related operations.

Its platform brings together capitalisation table management, employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), vesting schedules, fundraising transactions and shareholder communications. It also offers scenario modelling tools to help businesses assess changes in ownership and potential equity dilution during fundraising.

CapQuest’s software is designed to consolidate equity records and shareholder information that companies might otherwise maintain across spreadsheets and separate systems. The platform serves founders, employees and investors by providing tools for tracking ownership and managing equity plans.

According to the company’s funding announcement, CapQuest serves businesses across 11 countries, with a focus on the Middle East, Europe and emerging markets. Its reported clients include Holo, Erad, Avenia and Teylor.

The new capital will be directed towards expanding product capabilities, automating equity management processes and strengthening the company’s commercial operations as it develops its international customer base.
