Cori Clinical, a London-based clinical trial technology startup, has raised $4 million in a seed round led by Breega. Enzo Ventures, HEARTFELT_, Ventures Together and Bynd Venture Capital also participated in the financing.
Cori Clinical was co-founded by CEO Jorn Jansen Schoonhoven and CTO Patricio Fernandez Weisson. The company develops an AI-enabled workspace for clinical trial design and execution, aimed at pharmaceutical companies, clinical research organisations (CROs) and other clinical development teams.
Its platform brings together an organisation’s clinical trial knowledge with external information such as trial registries and regulatory guidance. It is designed to help teams develop and maintain a structured blueprint for a clinical trial, including protocols, submission materials, budgets and operational plans.
Cori Clinical plans to use the new capital to expand its delivery capacity, grow its team and further develop the regulatory and clinical intelligence within its platform. The funding will also support efforts to expand commercial relationships with CROs and pharmaceutical companies.
