Dextr AI has raised $6.7 million in seed funding led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Foundation Capital. The funding was announced on September 24, 2026.
Founded in 2025 by CEO Sajid Shariff and CTO Scott Arnold, the California-based startup develops AI agents for hospitality businesses. Its technology is designed to automate workflows across reservations, guest management, front-desk operations, staff management, sales, marketing and other back-office functions.
Dextr’s platform integrates with property management, enterprise resource planning and point-of-sale systems. The company offers AI-based tools that can handle bookings and guest communications, coordinate operational tasks, manage staff workflows and support revenue-related functions for hotels, resorts, vacation rentals and property management companies.
The startup plans to use the funding for product development, team expansion and broader deployment across global hospitality markets, including India.
Dextr said its platform is already automating more than one million interactions each month across hundreds of properties in the US, Canada, the UK and Europe, including franchised properties operating under the Hilton, Wyndham, Best Western and IHG brands.
The seed round represents Dextr AI’s first institutional financing, according to Crunchbase News.
