ABM Respiratory Care, a US-based medical technology company developing respiratory therapy solutions, has secured a $20 million growth capital commitment from Trinity Capital Inc. (NYSE: TRIN), an alternative asset manager specializing in private credit financing.
Announced on October 20, 2026, the financing will support the company’s commercial expansion, entry into new markets, product development, clinical research, and connected respiratory care technologies.
Founded in 2017 by Vinay Joshi, ABM Respiratory Care is headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota. Joshi serves as Chief Technology Officer, while Greg Miller leads the company as Chief Executive Officer. The company develops medical devices and respiratory care technologies for patients in hospital and home care settings.
Its BiWaze platform includes two FDA-cleared respiratory therapy systems designed to address different airway clearance needs.
BiWaze Clear uses oscillating lung expansion therapy to help mobilize secretions in the lower airways, while BiWaze Cough delivers mechanical insufflation-exsufflation therapy to assist patients who have difficulty clearing respiratory secretions through coughing.
The company is also developing Arc Connect, a digital health platform designed to support patient engagement, monitor therapy activity, and provide healthcare teams with information about respiratory treatment utilization.
The financing will allow ABM Respiratory Care to expand access to its existing respiratory therapy products while investing in further clinical research and connected care capabilities.
The commitment follows ABM Respiratory Care’s $14.8 million Series B funding round, announced in June 2025. That round was led by Peter Soderberg, the company’s board chairman and managing partner of Worthy Venture Resources, with participation from Bluwave Capital and other investors.
Trinity Capital, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, provides financing to growth-oriented companies across technology, healthcare and life sciences, equipment finance, and other lending segments.
