Rosie, a Seattle-based startup offering flexible childcare and household support services, has raised $7 million across two financing rounds led by Bling Capital and Reach Capital.
The funding also included participation from Graham & Walker, Marketplace Capital, Ingeborg Investments, Precursor Ventures, Mother Ventures and Yonder Ventures. Angel investors included Evan Moore, co-founder of DoorDash, and Ryan Delk, founder and CEO of Primer.
Founded by Mitra Raman and Karthika Shankar, Rosie launched its services in Seattle in January 2026. Raman serves as CEO, while Shankar is the company’s COO.
Rosie operates a membership-based service connecting families with vetted childcare professionals and household support providers. Its offerings include babysitting, household organization and assistance with everyday domestic responsibilities.
The platform combines these in-person services with an AI-powered Family Manager that learns household routines, schedules and preferences. The system helps coordinate caregiver matching, bookings, communications and payments, reducing the administrative work involved in arranging household support.
Since launching in Seattle, Rosie has served more than 250 member families and delivered over 17,000 hours of childcare and household assistance, according to the company.
The startup also enables caregivers and household professionals, known as Rosie Pros, to select work based on their availability and preferences while developing ongoing relationships with families.
Rosie plans to use the new capital to expand beyond Seattle, with launches planned in Austin and San Francisco in the coming months. The expansion will introduce its membership model to additional US markets while retaining its combination of human services and AI-assisted coordination.
